IMPACT ON CHILDREN                

The love of family members and a nurturing and safe environment are key to the development and growth of children. Unfortunately, domestic violence can undermine the life story of a child as he or she develop. Children exposure to their mother's and siblings' aggressor, or children who have themselves experienced physical mistreatment, abuses, emotional and verbal abuse are always the victims of violence in the home. They have to live with the consequences of violence. Like their mother, these children may feel distress, fear, embarrassment, anger, helplessness, and hope for a change. Just like their mother, they have to deal with their own cycle of violence.
